Product Features
Low Viscosity (1 to 10 cst) Dimethyl Silicone Oil offers excellent insulation, high water
resistance, excellent shear stability, high compressibility, superior dispersibility, low
surface tension, minimal reactivity, low vapor pressure, outstanding thermal stability,
and good leveling. It is soluble in most solvents and exhibits good compatibility with a
wide range of cosmetic ingredients, making it widely applicable in personal care
products. Its excellent spreading ability provides a non-greasy feel, leaving skin soft and
smooth. As a volatile polydimethylsiloxane with low viscosity, it is often used as a base
fluid or volatile carrier in personal care applications such as antiperspirants and
deodorants, owing to its remarkable dispersing properties and unique volatility.

Applications
- Used in personal care products, such as skincare creams, sunscreens, hair care products, antiperspirants, and deodorants.
- Used in cleaning agents and industrial applications, such as precision instrument cleaners, household products, mechanical oils, and as a component of penetrating oils.
- Used as a capping agent for silicone rubber, silicone oil, etc., with specific addition amounts determined based on formulation testing.
